The office can assist students with finding information about scholarships, internships, conferences and events that are of special interest to women, students of color, members of the LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender) community, students from various religious/spiritual backgrounds, etc. The office also maintains an updated list of cultural events taking place on and around campus.

Facilities and Resources
The University of New Haven has numerous state-of-the-art facilities on approximately 84 acres in suburban West Haven, Connecticut.

The Marvin K. Peterson Library contains more than 300,000 volumes and government documents, more than 1,000 periodicals, and CD-ROM disks and online databases. Students can find quiet study nooks, newspapers, the university archives, and a paperback leisure reading rack among the three floors.
