Personal motivation and achievement, the secondary school record and standardized test scores are all considered in making admission decisions. Candidates for admissions should have completed a college-preparatory sequence that included four years of English, two years of lab sciences, three years of mathematics and two years of social studies. A campus visit and interview are strongly recommended. Letters of recommendation are not required but may be submitted as supportive material. Art and design students must submit portfolios and music students must schedule an audition. Additional requirements may be required by certain programs. Students are admitted for the fall and the spring semesters on a rolling admission basis, beginning March 1. The priority deadline for freshman applicants is April 1.
