Students have an enormous educational, cultural and social advantage through the University's participation as a member of the Atlanta University Center (AUC) - the largest consortium of historically black colleges and universities in the world. All of the AUC institutions are located in a centralized area and within walking distance of Clark Atlanta.
Clark Atlanta is a member of the University Center of Georgia, a consortium of 18 colleges and universities located primarily in the metropolitan Atlanta area. Member institutions include those within the Atlanta University Center, Emory University, Georgia Tech, and Georgia State University, among others. Students benefit from the mutual use of library facilities, educational, cultural, and social offerings at each of the campuses as well as the opportunity to cross-register for specific classes.
